I wonder if I need a visa in advance

I'm a Portugal. I will be visiting Vietnam next month of May 2014 as a tourist. My stay will be brief, no longer than one month. I wonder if I need a visa in advance or can I buy it on arrival in the country. I need this urgent information. Thank you.
