Phu Quoc island, Kien Giang province, Vietnam

Phu Quoc is the biggest island of Vietnam belonging to Thailand Bay of Kien Giang province . Abundant sea as well as forest resources with soft white sand beaches have made a specially interesting tropical island.

 

 

For a long time ago, Phu Quoc has become very famous to tourists not only from Vietnam but also from all over the world because of its charming beauty. People call it  “ the Sunny Paradise” with attractive undiscovered mysteries. When the tourists come to Phu Quoc, they can rest on shadow of coconut trees in beach resorts or visit historical sites. Phu Quoc is also known as Emerald Island which is among 22 islands of Thailand bay, Duong Dong city has been the capital of the whole island located in North- West of the island. In 2006, the Biosphere Reserves in the coastal areas were formally recognized as international biosphere reserves.

There are many splendid beaches spreading from North to South,  99 moutains and immense primeval forests with diversity of ecosystem. In the South of the island, there are 12 more islandswith different size which belong to An Thoi archipelago. Also, in the North of the island, there exists Mong Tay, Ban and Fortune Teller island where are the perfect places to go sailing, fishing, diving to search coral and especially, discover the wild island and camp.... that is great! Phu Quoc travel has changed and surprised any visitors who had come here in the last decade. the hotel, restaurant, entertaiment center system have been turned into the bright side in great speed. The island is now welcome the visitors coming from all over the world to enjoy great time in the green island.  Traveling in Phu Quoc means  to close to the wild nature and of them all, come to the farthest land of the country.
